This route will lead you far and wide through South Tyrol, with a brief detour in Trentino. Leave early the hotel and reach Bolzano, heading to the north. Shortly after leaving the town, take the Val D’Ega road.
From here reach the Costalunga Pass, caressing the shores of Lake Carezza. Once you are up on the Pass, take a dip into the Fassa Valley and reach the town of Canazei.
From Canazei, take on the second ascent of the day, that will lead you up to the Pordoi Pass from where you can easily reach Corvara in Badia and quickly go down through the Gardena Valley.
Once you have returned along the Isarco Valley, proceed towards the north in the direction of Vipiteno. If you want you can use the highway to save a bit of time. After arriving in Vipiteno, look for indications for the Pennes Pass.
When you reach the pass, you can admire the landscapes of Sarentino that you have to cross to return to the hotel, by crossing Bolzano again.
